| This two day evaluative program is conducted by examiners from PADI and at the end of those two days you will earn: |

| To enter an IE you need to have successfully completed an entire IDC/OWSI course within the past 12 months and have logged 100 dives. |

| |
| You will have five Dive Theory exams: Physics, Physiology, The Recreational Dive Planner, Equipment, Skills and The Environment – yes, exactly the same topics as on your PADI Divemaster Course and IDC/OWSI. A PADI standards exam again – very similar to the ones you experienced during your IDC.
In the IE, exams are available in over 20 languages. Should the exam not be available in your native language you will be credited with extra time.Please note that exams other than English need to be ordered from PADI well in advance of the IE, so please let us know as early as possible. |

| Teaching Presentations & Water Works |

| One Prescriptive Teaching Knowledge Development presentation, one Confined Water presentation teaching one skill and one Open Water presentation integrating 2 skills, yes you’ve guessed it just the same as you faced during the IDC / OWSI course. |

You will do a demonstration of Exercise #7 from the PADI Rescue Diver Course; you first learnt this skill during your PADI Rescue Diver Course and further refined your techniques during your Divemaster and IDC training. |

| You will have a skill circuit of 5 skills taken from the skill circuit performed during the Divemaster Course, Assistant Instructor and IDC/OSWI course. |

| And guess what – Not only are there no surprises with what you have to do but the scoring is the same as you experienced during your IDC as well; you’ve met the same passing scores at least once during your IDC (The way we run our IDCs we guarantee you will be hitting passing scores on a regular basis before you even think about the IE!) so there is no reason to do so again. Although the program is pass/fail if you were to have a brain storm and fail one section but pass all the others the good news is that you don’t have to take the whole IE again just that one section again (and don’t forget our IDC guarantee!).
Once successful, candidates will be certified as PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors (OWSI) and be qualified to teach PADI courses from Open Water Diver up to Divemaster! |
